Airports
When traveling to Northwestern from the airport, taking the airport shuttle or a surburban taxi is recommended, as taking the subway/El can take more than 2 hours from either O'Hare or Midway. The airport shuttle prices range from $15-$34 per person, and taxi rates start at a minimum of $31, with a couple of dollars extra for each additional person. Please note that, if you decide to take a taxi, it is advisable to call one of the surburban cab companies and have them pick you up at the airport as regular Chicago cabs can charge outlandish amounts to drive from O'Hare to Evanston.
O'Hare International Airport
O'Hare is located 20 miles west of Evanston and is accessible by both public transportation and car.
Midway Airport
Midway International is 10 miles south of downtown Chicago and approximately an hour drive from Evanston. It is accessible by public transportation and car.
