Call for IDC 2009 Venue

The previous IDC conferences (2007 in Aalborg, Denmark; 2006 in Tampere, Finland; 2005 in Boulder, USA; 2004 in Maryland, USA; 2003 in Preston, UK and 2002 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands) have been increasingly well-attended, with an increasingly broad and deep community. We therefore encourage potential hosts to submit proposals for the IDC conference in 2009. To apply, please address the following issues in your proposal:

• Description of the location
• People involved in the bid and their roles
• Involvement in previous IDC events
• Objectives for IDC 2009
• Arguments in favor of location
• Arguments in favor of host organization
